The Altum telescopic pole systems

The ALTUM telescopic pole is a revolutionary new device developed by the engineers of CSpect.

Inspecting tall structures has traditionally been expensive and difficult, relying on scaffolding or specialized rope access teams that pose significant safety risks. Although drones offered an alternative, they face limitations such as short battery life and complex administration. These methods are not only costly and time-consuming but also endanger inspectors. Advances in technology are now enabling more efficient, safer, and cost-effective inspection solutions.

They developed a special telescopic pole which can perform UTM and visual inspections on various different surfaces in the industry.

The ALTUM can perform:

  • UTM thickness measurements with A-scan

  • visual inspections at 64Mp

  • different interventions during inspection, such as grinding prior to the UT measurement to ensure a 100% accurate measurement

No other system can measure so quickly, efficiently and accurately up to a height of 20 meters!

As from now, storage tanks, structures at height with a rust layer or a ledge in the way can be measured from the ground!

Thanks to the Altum pole, there are:

  • Less industrial accidents

  • Increased measurement accuracies due to the fact that the Altum can grind prior to the UT measurement

  • Time savings up to 400%

  • Cost savings

  • No restrictions as is the case with drones (licenses, wind, very narrow spaces, no grinding facility, etc…)

Do you want to know if the Altum can be used for the inspection of your situation?
