Sonar inspections

Cspect performs sonar inspections using our ROVs. This method provides valuable insights into your asset's condition, even under low visibility conditions.

Sonar inspections utilize sound waves to evaluate underwater structures and detect objects, providing a reliable method for assessing the condition of ship hulls, submerged pipelines, and other marine infrastructure.

Quay inspection

Cspect can inspect quays both above and under water by ROV and with the Altum Telescopic Pole with visual module.

We can process a set of sonar images, find the correct alignment between them and blend them in one single informative mosaic, providing an overview of the surveyed area and easing the interpretation of the imaged scene.

Extra

As extra Cspect can provide geolocation by matching the sonar image with a map. This is a visual way to show the wall and possible faults in relation to its location. Cspect can also provide the images with a scale for a better estimation of the damage and location. Measurements can be added to provide extra information: dimensions and distances can be visualised. Other extra’s are possible as the technology evolves.
