Our inspection techniques
-
ROV inspections
Underwater inspections utilizing Remotely Operated Vehicles offer a superior alternative to employing divers.
-
ALTUM POLE height inspections
The Altum is an own developped telescopic pole for inspections up to 20m. It reduces time to 400% and work accidents.
-
NDT inspections
We apply Non-Destructive Testing inspections to evaluate the integrity of materials without causing any damage
-
DRONE inspections
We use drone inspections to assess the condition of assets, infrastructure, or environments.
-
PAINT PERMEABILITY
We inspect the permeabilty of different paint systems with high-tech ROVs or the ALTUM telescopic pole.
-
SOUND inspections
We execute sound inspections on different materials as marine vessels to evaluate the integrity and condition of materials and structures.
-
THERMOGRAPHIC inspections
We use infrared imaging to reveal surface temperature differences without damage to detect overheating, poor insulation or moisture, invisible to the eye.
-
ULTRASONIC LEAK detection
Ultrasonic leak detection is a non-invasive, highly effective method for identifying leaks in various systems.
Inspections using “The Altum” telescopic pole
With our telescopic pole “The Altum” Cspect performs inspections up to 20m high. The different inspection techniques with the Altum are:
Visual: the Altum is equipped with a high-definition camera for visual inspections
Thickness: With a real A-scan the Altum performs ultrasonic thickness measurements with ease
Permeability of paint systems
Inspections below water
Underwater inspections utilizing Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) offer a superior alternative to employing divers. Cspect perform several different techniques with our ROVs
Sonar: Our ROVs are equipped with a precise sonar that can be used in low visible conditions.
Cathodic protection: Cspect’s ROVs are equipped with a probe that is used for cathodic protection measurements.
Thickness: Ultrasonic thickness measurements are performed with ROVs to check the remaining thickness of your structure
Cleaning: With a powerful water jet our ROVs remove excess organic material or debris
Dimension check: With a laser attachment, our ROVs can precisely measure dimension underwater.
Thickness measurements
Cspect performs thickness measurements not only with the Altum, but also with our own small UTM devices.
Ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTM) is a non-destructive testing method employed to inspect the thickness of metal in ship hulls, piping, and structural steel.
Sound inspections
Cspect performs sound inspections on different materials as marine vessels to evaluate the integrity and condition of materials and structures.
Thermographic inspections
Thermographic inspection uses infrared imaging to reveal surface temperature differences without damage. It detects overheating, poor insulation, and moisture invisible to the naked eye.
Ultrasonic leak detection
Ultrasonic leak detection is a non-invasive, highly effective method for identifying leaks in various systems.
paint permeability inspections
Cspect inspect the permeabilty of your paint systems. This is done with our high-tech ROVs or the ALTUM telescopic pole.
